How Aftermath Ltd handles personal information on aftech.mt. Last updated: October 2026

This website, aftech.mt, is operated by Aftermath Ltd, a company registered in Malta (registration C110654, VAT MT31570511), 34 Mosta Road, St Paul’s Bay, Malta. Aftermath Ltd is the controller of the personal information described here.

What we collect

When you send a message through our contact form we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, company (optional), the topic you choose and your message. We use this information only to reply to you and, if you ask us to, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

To protect the form against abuse we keep a short-lived, salted hash of your connection’s IP address for up to one hour. It cannot be used to identify you and is deleted automatically.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and for up to 24 months afterwards for our records, unless they lead to a contract, in which case the contract’s retention rules apply. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information and do not share it with advertisers. Enquiries are stored on our hosting provider’s servers in the European Union. A copy of each enquiry is delivered to our team by email, through Google (Gmail), which acts as our email provider; Google may process this information outside the European Union under the safeguards set out in its data processing terms (the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses). We share information with other parties only where the law requires it.

Cookies

This website uses one optional cookie, aft_lang, which remembers the language you picked (English, Maltese or Italian) for up to a year. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not load fonts or scripts from third parties. You can clear the cookie in your browser at any time; the site will simply open in English.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to its use or ask us to restrict it. Use the contact form on this website to make a request; we will reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta (idpc.org.mt).

Our platforms

The platforms shown on this website — such as Insuq, apply.mt or buds.mt — each have their own privacy policy, published on that platform. This policy covers aftech.mt only.
